Rolls from the Past: Trip with Friends

So, I wanted to develope a roll from England, so I picked the only APX 100 there (but I was wrong, I had 2 left). Still some nice shots, even when one series is totaly out of focus, its harder then I thought with a 24mm in dimm light. To bad, some frames of them looked really neat. I have to train more with the 24mm.

Camera was Om2 with 24/2, shoot APX 100 developed in Rodinal 1+50

Thats how you walk the dog

Couldn't decide what frame works better.

Been to the city with Gusti, and some school did a project there. This girl was filming it.

One box says "GIVE", the other "TAKE". You could exchange small toys there.

Gusti found a YoYo there.

One of the kids there offered us candys

Same girl, different (funny) poses
Really like the angle of view here

Now change of szene. This was the photowalk in Villach.

Relaxing at the table
Next Change of Szene. Going to the Simpsons Movie.
I like to climb on things

Unusuall Places in Klagenfurt

After truely shocking results from a normal photo lab, I decided I have to get something good, so I went in my bathroom and did my own film. While I was picking up the film today, I noticed a book in the city about Lubeljana, a town in slovenia. There were a few photos from wrecked buildings, and I thought I could do that here too.

I still had a roll of Tmax400 24 frames, and for some grain and higher contrast, I shoot it at ISO 1600. To get that effect even stronger, I developed it in XTOL 1+1 at 27°C/80°F. To my surprise, there was still almost no grain. Lovely film.

I'm really amazed by the TMAX, you can almost read the sign there.

The 24mm works nice with foreground.

Someone put out some catfoot and water. Bad for cats, water was frozen.

The text says "Are you effected?"

The front is protected by law, so they just ripped the back appart.

Took me some time to find that place again, love the texture. 1/4 , f2,8

The old cinema in town, like the bike there.

Rolls from the Past: Ancient Film

So, another roll from the past, this time a really ancient one. I never developed this one since I always waited for a 2nd HP5 to develop in the same tank. This one must be 1,5 years or so old. Pictures are from Vienna, Klagenfurt and from University. I shoot this roll with the Yashica, that shows how old it is :)

Yashica Electro 35, HP5@400, developed in XTOL 1+1

First frame, Vienna, stupid car got right into my frame

Michi on the phone.

We fix everything

This gonna be expensive

Now back to Klagenfurt

This Kid made some quite good music

This guy was in the city with a bible, talking about religion
Giant referee hands out candy for kids

Roll from the Past: Party in Vienna

Next edition of Rolls from the Past. This time i started with the XTOL I prefered a few days ago and developed the TriX from Vienna, when I was there for Werners birthday. I started with a APX 400 I scanned a few days ago, this time it was the TriX@2000 I shoot later.

Shoot with the Bessa R and 35/1,7, TriX @ 2000 in XTol 1+1, for 18:30 min.

Most people had "just" digital cameras

Werner trying to get a beer
What good is it when you can hold long times when the people move
Want a piece of me (cake)?

Here, I get you one

Later another film-freak showed up

Spiky Hood

Werner gets a lab-dance :P

And a massage

Not smoking, just laughing

Later we moved into the bar

Not much light, but that nice

Don't you dare take a photo

He gets a crown

Realy like this one, pose, light and smoke is perfect

Relaxing, isn't it

Last piece of cake
